This circa 1930's brick and iron cottage gained a timber framed rear addition. The block slopes steeply to the rear and the home enjoys views across to the Perth hills. The project entailed demolishing the existing rear deck but retaining the previous rear addition. The design included stepping down to a new kitchen space, living area, laundry and deck. High ceilings and extensive glazing were used bring the views into the home, creating a great spot to enjoy the serenity.
